How to ACE your TOK Essay? the ✨ PLANNING ✨

Albeit I am still in the process of writing our TOK essay, here are a few of my suggestions for the TOK essay. Many students struggle to organise their TOK essay and understand how simple of a process it is to write one.

Well, we're here to help you. So, let's get started. We've broken this down into three steps:

1. Planning --> Evidences

2. First Draft

3. Last Draft + Checklist

Let's look at the first step ... the INFAMOUS planning.

Yes, planning does take some time, but here are a few ways to increase your chances at getting the best evidences for your TOK essay.

1. Be broad minded! This isn't your typical motivational quote. Don't restrict yourself to two AOKs. If you're the type of person who is fixated - for example - on the human sciences and natural sciences, think about the arts or perhaps literature. Broadening your potential essay topics ensures the best chance at getting the 💥PERFECT💥 evidences.

2. Talk with your friend. Make sure to discuss your ideas with someone else and ask their view or what evidences they would choose. However, make sure to discuss with someone that is answering a different question - you wouldn't want to choose the same topic.

3. The last resort! We've all been here. Even, I've done that. Many students watch the "Getting an A in TOK" videos to get further insight into a question and break it down (a.k.a. unpacking the title). If this doesn't work out, check out reddit (r/ibo).
